- Only customers with an electricity meter are eligible for this scheme. Those without a meter can avail the benefits after obtaining one from the Mahadistribution Department.
- Commercial and industrial meter holders are not eligible for subsidy benefits. However, they can independently install solar systems to reduce electricity costs.
